ABOUT THE SAN DIEGO CENTURY

Join us on May 20, 2017 for the 11th annual San Diego Century.

“The San Diego Century is a wonderful San Diego tradition and community cycling event that caters to cyclists of all ages and abilities.” says event director Jim Curl. “The rides showcase the classic hills and scenery in North County San Diego. The volunteers and course support along the route combined with the post-ride expo and food trucks at MiraCosta College really make this annual event a treat for any cyclist.”

The event consists of a choice of 33, 67 and 105-mile rides that start and finish at MiraCosta College in Encinitas. The three cycling courses include classic and challenging routes that tour the beautiful Lake Hodges, climb scenic hills on the way to Poway and Ramona and return to the San Elijo lagoon through picturesque Rancho Santa Fe.

All the rides are followed by finish line festivities at MiraCosta College, including cuisine from local food trucks, refreshments and a sports and fitness expo.

Proceeds from the ride support the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition – www.sdcbc.org — a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to making bicycling better in greater San Diego.
