What is Taste the Hills?
If just climbing the hills of the San Diego Century Bicycle Tour is not enough, then you can also enjoy the Taste the Hills cuisine: this is the local tasty cuisine that is available at select aid stations and at the finish line.  The Taste the Hills experience will include a festival at MiraCosta College with local cuisine, music and an expo. Taste the Hills on your bike before the Taste the Hills Festival: Start your climbing with The San Elijo Hill on the 37 mile route around Lake Hodges, then add The Three Witches Climb on the 66 mile route up to Poway and finish all three with the challenging Purple Monster Climb on the 103 mile route up to Ramona. All rides start and finish at MiraCosta College in Encinitas.
