Stay tuned to the 6 week calendar for rides we recommend in California. The calendar focuses on Southern California, with some of the classic Northern California rides also included. The calendar provides every cyclist with some great routes, full support and just about any distance or difficulty. Whether it’s the shorter casual rides, or the 15,000 feet you’ll climb over 5 mountain passes at The Death Ride there’s a bike ride coming up for everyone.
Next up in July:
- July 14: The Death Ride, 66 to 129 miles, with up to 15,000 feet of climbing in the California Alps. You can still register for this epic event as a sponsor or camp attendee. Whether or not you ride this year, this is one for the bucket list.
- July 14: LA in a Day Bike Tour, 32 miles, hybrid bike & helmet rental included, or bring your own. Biking & walking tour of LA, West Hollywood & beach towns. Great beginner event to get on the bike & have some fun.
- July 15: Beach Babe Bicycling Classic, 15 & 36 miles for women riders in Long Beach, CA.
- (RESCHEDULED TO OCT 7) July 15: Gran Fondo Cannondale Los Angeles, 72 miles or 39 miles with serious climbing.
- July 21: The Windmill Century, 26 to 100 mile rides starting north of Santa Barbara, CA.
- July 22: Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia, 29 to 83 miles with big climbs around Pasadena, CA.
- August 4: Tour de Big Bear, 25 to 100 miles at Big Bear Lake, CA.
- August 26: Bike the Bay, 25 miles with a route over the San Diego - Coronado Bay Bridge in San Diego, CA.
