We hope this week’s jersey giveaway question will add a little cheer for Mother’s Day and all the moms in our lives!
If you haven’t participated yet, this is our last week of giving away San Diego Century bike jerseys and merchandise. We’ll have one more set of Friday winners this week on 5/11 and one more set of giveaways for weekend ride reports on 5/12 - 5/13. Giveaway winners will receive a free 2012 San Diego Century bike jersey, and we usually add a few other merchandise items.

The 5/12 promotion will include one San Diego Century 2012 Bike Jersey, and other merchandise. No purchase necessary. Entries limited to one per person. One prize per person. Previous 2012 jersey winners ARE eligible for items other than jerseys. Items will be awarded based on best comments on this post between May 7 and Friday May 11, 2012 at 5 pm, with winners selected by San Diego Century judges.
If you look at my email address closely, it reads, momof7. Separate the letters just the right way, and it reads mom of 7. I am the Mom of 7 children . I am not, however, looking for a merchandise give away for me, because I’m the Mom. Rather, I would like to give something special for the one that takes on the schedules of a busy family at home, while the the Mom takes on miles training the roads of San Diego . This Mom would love to give a gift of thanks to the husband on Mother’s Day, for his support and encouragement he gives me not only as a wife and mother, but, as a cyclist. I am a better Mom, Sunday through Friday, because this sweet man kisses me goodbye and says, “Be safe and have a great ride!” on Saturday.
Although this is my last chance to win one of these great jerseys, I would like to support Susan G for her recognition of her husband on Mother’s Day. As a father of three and granfather of two, I feel the same way towards my wife, who as a non-rider would not enjoy a jersey (I am trying to get out on the road), but supports me in my riding addiction. So I would like to see Susan win for her unselfish recognition of her life partner.
